In line with its strategic commitment to scientific excellence and international competitiveness, the Institute for Biomedical Research of Lleida (IRBLleida) is launching this open call to attract outstanding Established (R3) and Leading (R4) Researchers. The aim is to reinforce the institute’s research capabilities by incorporating highly qualified professionals with a proven track record in biomedical sciences. This initiative seeks to foster the development of innovative research lines, enhance external funding opportunities, and promote long-term integration within a dynamic and supportive scientific environment.

We are seeking candidates who:
• Hold, or are in the process of applying for, competitive research grants (e.g., Miguel Servet, Ramón y Cajal, ERC Starting/Consolidator/Advanced Grants, ICREA, etc.).
• Are looking for a host institution to develop and consolidate their research career.
• Demonstrate scientific excellence and leadership potential.
• A supportive and dynamic research environment.
• For highly competitive profiles (e.g., ERC or ICREA awardees), IRBLleida may offer a customized startup package to support the establishment and growth of their research group.
• Access to state-of-the-art facilities and institutional support.
• Tailored strategies for career development and integration within IRBLleida, subject to a scientific evaluation every three years by our External Scientific Committee.
