Product Stewardship Analyst – BD
As Product Stewardship Analyst you will provide subject matter expertise, data management and analytical support for chemical regulations (e.G., REACH and REACH-like regulations). You will monitor new and changing regulations in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities Will Include
* Serve as subject matter expert on chemical regulations;
maintain up-to-date knowledge, ensure internal stakeholders understand requirements, and track / report progress toward deadlines.
* Monitor and assess global emerging or changing chemical regulations that could impact BD’s ability to place products on the market;
collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct initial impact analysis and oversee status of responses.
* Collect, analyze and govern chemical regulation related data;
complete or support submissions (e.G., REACH pre-registrations, SCIP submissions, PFAS reporting, etc.).
* Provide guidance, training and support on chemical regulations to global businesses, functions, regions and plants;
maintain trackers and overviews as needed.
* Lead or actively contribute to assigned chemical compliance projects.
* Develop chemical regulation related data and documentation for customers and suppliers.
* Ensure required software programs (e.G., REACH-IT, IUCLID, SAP, etc.) are monitored and updated.
* Support ongoing chemical compliance processes;
identify and implement opportunities for improvements.
* Support ongoing data governance and associated activities.
About You
* You have a degree in Chemistry or another related field and experience with chemical regulations such as REACH, BPR, POP, etc.
* You have a minimum of two years of experience in chemical regulations.
* You are a self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders worldwide.
* You are able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet regulatory and business needs.
* You have strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. You are proficient in English and Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
experience with SAP anddatabase programs is helpful.
