This may be in the area of taxation, ESG or management reporting, and our clients are some of Europe’s largest multinationals across all industries.We are therefore seeking Senior Consultants across all our locations to support our cross-competency teams. You will be an important piece to bridge the gap between finance and IT assisting our clients through the journey from problem definition through design to implementation of technology solutions. As a functional consultant you will be working on the business side of a project, designing new processes and solutions in close cooperation with our IT technical people and the client.With ever-increasing regulations or reporting requirements business departments must gather, organize, and analyze more data than ever before. The data must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization, and to succeed companies therefore require changes to both processes and systems. This is what we deliver in PSI - end-to-end solutions to complex business challenges. Typical use cases are specialized management reporting, sustainability reporting and various tax reporting cases such as Global minimum taxation (BEPS), transfer pricing, tax accounting and VAT analytics.PSI is a part of EDGE, an above-market center of excellence, with a primary focus on cross-border delivery of specialist and innovative service offerings. PSI is based in 8 different countries in Europe and India and is the definition of an international team, working together and building the best suitable project teams regardless of location of our people and the client.Preferred locations for this position are Spain, Italy, Germany, and Norway. Highly qualified applicants from other locations will still be considered.**Key Responsibilities**- Design effective solutions with an emphasis on improving processes and efficiency, reducing risk and improving decision making - this includes drafting user requirements, process mappings, excel modelling, Data flows diagrams, functional and technical design, user story definition, among other documents depending on the deployment methodologies.- Implement these solutions by collaborating in design, configuration, development implementation, testing, preparing test scripts, training, and project management activities.- Interact with clients (users and key stakeholders) to understand their needs and priorities.- Support our team of Technology experts in implementation of solutions in SAP, Microsoft, and other technologies.- Involvement in the development of new innovative services and turnkey solutions for clients- Manage clients and teams located in multiple locations.**Qualification & Experience Required**- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in Accounting / Tax / Business / Economics and/or software engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA or equivalent experience.- A combination of education and experience to bridge the gap between finance and IT is a preferred.- An overall 2-6 years’ work experience that includes:- Technology Project Implementation and/or- Process improvement project (preferably in the finance function e.g. planning, consolidation, tax or ESG), and/or- Inhouse reporting responsibility for Finance/Accounting (consolidation, product/service costing, controlling, management reporting) and/or Tax (Transfer Pricing, tax accounting, tax provisioning, CbCR, BEPS Pillar 2) and/or- Technical knowledge / understanding / experience in one or more of the following technologies is preferred:- SAP (SAP Build, CAP, SAP PaPM / SAP BW / SAP HANA / SAP BPC / SAP Analytics Cloud / SAP FI/CO / SAP Datasphere)- Microsoft PowerApps / Azure- Other EPM software- Gen AI- Very good consulting skills: (Powerpoint preparation, MS Excel modelling, presentation skills)- Having a consultant mindset; problem-solver, professional, reliable, curious and analytic in addition to have good communication and interpersonal skills and being able to work under pressure.- Strong team-focus and a positive attitude- Business English and a plus to speak additional EU language (especially German, French, Spanish)**What we offer**As part of this role, you'll work in a highly integrated, global team with the opportunity and tools to grow, develop and drive your career forward.
