Job Description
Role Summary: Providing technical support to Field Engineers for all on-the-day activities, including Ericsson Nodes 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G integrations of new base stations and upgrades of existing sites. Ensuring activities meet quality standards through calls and post-performance checks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform remote configuration expansions and new site integrations for 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G Ericsson sites.
2. Generate and validate scripts for integration processes.
3. Experience with Ericsson BB6630 / BB6648 / RP6631 / RP 6651 for integration and troubleshooting.
4. Configure RUs, RRUs, and AIR Radios.
5. Experience with DUW / DUG / DUS / DUL systems.
6. Handle swap activities such as carrier addition, sector addition, technology addition, and site modernization.
7. Configure Mixed Mode Radios, GPS, and ENDC.
8. Coordinate communication and troubleshooting between back-office and field teams.
9. Configure external alarms, RET, and neighbor relations.
10. Assist field engineers with integration, troubleshooting, acceptance tests, and call tests.
11. Configure cells and parameters in BSC / RNC.
12. Perform software and license upgrades via ENM.
13. Manage configuration, performance, and fault management.
14. Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve TXN and RF issues.
15. Collaborate with planning and design teams for resolving design-related issues.
16. Utilize Ericsson ENM tools.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications engineering with managerial or supervisory knowledge.
* Graduation in Telecommunications or Electronics.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
* Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus.
