Job Purpose
Support Risk Analysis in CAMO areas including their contracted providers to ensure hazard identification and management of investigations related to maintenance events.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the continuing airworthiness part of the SMS program, in accordance with Vueling Airlines instructions and the ORO.GEN.200 and CAMO.A.200.
* Investigate incidents related to Continuing Airworthiness, as well as performing risk assessment of hazards.
* Monitor and report to the RS on all safety issues that may impact the Company.
* Assist the RS in developing and maintaining a Safety Policy for the Maintenance area, including those carried out by service providers.
* Provide information to Maintenance staff through training, meetings, intranet, email and publications on day‑to‑day safety reporting issues.
* Follow industry and activity trends in safety and regulatory compliance, national and international guidance on safety standards in the maintenance area.
* External liaison with relevant safety authorities, and exchange initiatives with other operators.
* Report MSRs and promote notification of all reportable events with the aim of improving safety performance in the Continuing Airworthiness area.
* Conduct continuing airworthiness related investigations and risk assessments SAGs when requested.
* Perform safety risk assessment, determining the likelihood and severity of safety risk of identified hazards.
* Assist the RS to design and monitor a set of SPIs for the Continuing Airworthiness area.
* Interpret flight data with detected or reported operational exceedances that may require a maintenance inspection to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft.
* Promote operational safety in the maintenance area through different initiatives, both internally and externally.
* Perform punctual work outside the office environment (audits, ad‑hoc inspections, event investigation).

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanics, electronic, electricity) or Aeronautical related to maintenance and/or continuous airworthiness.
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in aeronautical maintenance of 737 as a must and 320 family fleet.
