Do you have solid experience in sales in the wind energy sector, industrial or similar? This could be your opportunity to join Vestas. The Sales team for Iberia is responsible for all sales-related activities from initial customer contact to submitting offers, negotiating new contracts for wind farms and concluding them. You will interact with stakeholders across the chain, including internal teams. With our presence and history, we aim to be a top market and ensure Vestas remains a global partner in sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day interaction between Vestas and targeted customers;
understand the customerbusiness case to ensure optimal and winning value propositions.
* Screen and evaluate sales opportunities.
* Prioritize projects and customers to optimize resources;
develop sales engineers.
* Coordinate the entire sales cycle from identifying potential customers, quoting and optimizing deals to negotiating and concluding contracts for wind energy projects.
* Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration in a matrix organization;
coordinate and specify technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction and service solutions with other Vestas departments.
* Establish, develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders (existing and potential customers, authorities, utilities).
* Monitor market development and trends.
* Contribute to the development of Vestas' regional commercial strategy.
Qualifications
* BS/MS degree in engineering, business administration or a related field.
* 5 years of experience in sales in the energy industry, machinery, construction, large infrastructure projects or large manufactured products;
experience in wind energy sales is an asset.
* Solid commercial and legal experience from exposure to/understanding of customers.
* Fluency in English and Spanish.

* Ability to build relationships with customers.
* Good technical understanding.
Additional Info
* Living in Madrid is required.
* Availability to travel is required. Travel is expected 1 or 2 days per month.
