As Expert Software Engineer in Map Advanced Analytics, you design and scale data-driven analytics platforms to assess map quality. You’ll collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build robust pipelines in Azure, driving automation, reliability, and performance. You will own major projects and mentor teammates, shaping scalable solutions that inform strategic decisions. This role sits at the core of TomTom’s mission to deliver trusted, detailed maps, touching millions of users.

• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to support scalable model and data processes and mentor junior teammates
• Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data processing pipelines and platforms with a focus on automation, scalability, and reliability
• Contribute to architectural discussions and improve engineering, testing, and deployment practices
• Take full ownership of major projects or project components from requirements to production
• Lead initiatives and changes within the team and across the organization
Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of production-grade software development and end-to-end data analytics experience
• Proficiency in Python; other languages valued
• Strong object-oriented programming, design patterns, testing frameworks, and best practices
• Ability to simplify complex data structures and solve problems
• Experience building scalable software architectures
• Experience with Git-based collaborative software engineering, testing, and deployment; knowledge of TDD, XP, Pair Programming xpzdshu a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and Infrastructure as Code
• Proven experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also acceptable) for data processing systems
• Excellent English communication skills
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
