About the CompanyBlueWalker Capital is a hedge fund developing systematic and quantitative trading strategies native to prediction markets.
We log hundreds of millions of trades and order book ticks per day, isolate market pairs from tens of millions of combinations, and continuously monitor for a range of arbitrage opportunities we execute on. It's still early days for us—we are deepening a moat across trading infrastructure, datasets, and modeling.
We trade algorithmically using our own balance sheet, generating daily returns exceeding 1% with the capacity to rotate hundreds of thousands of euros in daily volume.
Our mission is to become the leading hedge fund in this emerging asset class, delivering investment returns while making prediction markets efficient as the world's most accurate source of truth.
About the RoleWe are a small data science team, which means your responsibilities scale rapidly and your impact is clear and foundational. You will work across the full data set and models stack, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data and signals that trigger hundreds of thousands of euros in daily trade volume.
Responsibilities
Develop resilient models to continuously price and underwrite dynamic proprietary datasets.
Create high-quality datasets spanning science, tech, economics, energy, music, and politics .
Build robust ingestion pipelines to transform raw, unstructured data into clean, structured data.
Work with the trading and engineering team to ensure signals are correctly used.
Who we are looking forHard Skills:
2+ years of hands-on data science experience in Python and SQL.
Strong coding, debugging, and data engineering skills.
Ability to design and write production-grade systems without LLMs, while being proficient and deeply integrated with AI tools to maximize development velocity.
A background in statistics, computer science, mathematics, physics, or other quantitative fields.
Soft Skills:
Self-starter with intense intellectual curiosity.
Someone eager to take unconventional paths and creatively build from the ground up.
Preferred Skills:
Experience sourcing and aggregating fragmented, "hard-to-find" data to build unique datasets.
Capacity to decode non-obvious factors driving developments across science, tech, economics, energy, music, and politics to develop forecasts as a function of domain-specific signals.
Ability to translate qualitative insights and unstructured information into statistically significant quantitative metrics.
