Responsibilities:
* Overall ownership of a project delivery, representing Microsoft towards the customer in all matters concerning the specific project delivery.
* Creates excitement and inspires commitment/buy-in from the customer for transformation engagements.
* Leads and manages the planning, execution, and outcomes of complex transformational projects using appropriate project management frameworks and methodologies.
* Implements project management standards, compliance, and best practices to ensure effective delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
* Leads, directs, and oversees a team of skilled resources across multiple workstreams or projects to plan, execute, and coordinate activities.
* Advises on and escalates project decisions affecting significant business impact and performance to governance forums, identifying unresolved decisions.
* Leads cross-team and third-party collaborations— influencing without authority and leveraging diverse team strengths.
Internal Responsibilities:
* Ownership of performance metrics related to specific project delivery.
* Inspires and motivates the team to perform their best.
* Maintains knowledge of consulting services and proactively seeks ways to add value and build relationships across service lines.
* Participates in pre-sales, articulating the business value proposition clearly and compellingly.
* Manages commercial aspects of projects, ensuring financial integrity and predictability.
* Enhances team performance through supervision, coaching, and mentoring at all levels.
* Shares intellectual property and suggests operational efficiencies proactively.
Qualifications:
* Mandatory business fluency in Spanish.
* Minimum 5 years managing mid- to large-scale technology consulting projects.
* At least 3 years working with public sector clients or related entities.
* Core project management skills: financial management, planning, scheduling, reporting, resource management, stakeholder communication, risk management.
* Leadership experience leading cross-functional teams without direct reports.
* Strong presentation skills, experienced with audiences including C-suite.
* Experience in consulting or professional services.
* PMP or equivalent certification.
* Familiar with Agile and Waterfall; Agile certification preferred.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
