This role will partner with senior leadership to drive organisational growth, talent strategy, cultural development, and HR operations across the business.
Senior HR Director - Responsibilities:
* Provide visionary leadership for all HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and employee engagement
* Partner with executive leadership to shape HR strategy in support of business goals, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, culture and long-term growth objectives
* Lead workforce planning, succession strategy, and organisational design initiatives to support evolving business needs in a dynamic biopharma environment
* Oversee employee life-cycle processes, ensuring best-in-class practices for hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, promotions, and separations
* Champion a positive employee experience and inclusive culture;
design and implement programs to enhance engagement, retention, and professional development
* Manage HR operations to ensure compliance with employment law and regulatory requirements in Spain, and contribute to global HR policy alignment where applicable
* Drive HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions, measure effectiveness, and guide continuous improvement
* Advise and coach leaders on performance, people risks, employee relations, organisational change and leadership development
Senior HR Director - Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field;
advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, etc.) is preferred
* 10+ years of progressive HR experience in fast-paced environments, with strong experience in people leadership, strategic HR partnerships, and enterprise HR programs
* Previous experience in the biopharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare or related regulated industry is highly desirable
* Deep xsgfvud understanding of HR best practices, employment law, compensation frameworks, performance management systems and organisational development
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing at all organisational levels
* Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop HR teams, and work effectively across multicultural environments
* Analytical and results-oriented mindset, with strong judgement, discretion and ethical grounding
* Based in Spain, fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken), with eligibility to work and lead on-site
