We are looking for a Junior Procurement Engineer / Buyer with 2–3 years of experience in industrial EPC/EPR projects. The role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, and proactive interaction with internal stakeholders to support project execution.The candidate will support procurement activities from RFQ to PO placement, ensuring compliance with project requirements, internal procedures, and schedule constraints.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport procurement activities for industrial projects (EPC/EPR), including:RFQ preparation and issuanceBid clarification and commercial alignmentSupplier comparison and recommendationPurchase Order (PO) placement and follow-upCoordinate closely with engineering, project management, construction, quality, and logistics teams.Work with nominated and approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with project, technical, and commercial requirements.Manage procurement activities under short lead times and high-pressure environments .Follow up with suppliers on:Drawings and documentation (e.G. GAD, VDD/VDDL)Manufacturing progress and delivery datesCommercial and contractual complianceMaintain accurate procurement documentation and records.Support negotiations on commercial terms under guidance of senior buyers or procurement leads.Ensure procurement activities align with project schedules and budget constraints.Act as a reliable interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar .2–3 years of experience in procurement for industrial projects, preferably EPC/EPR environments.Familiarity with procurement of equipment, packages, or services for industrial plants.Experience working with technical documentation and project deliverables.Exposure to fast-track projects and multitasking environments.
Skills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines .Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal client relationships .Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.Basic understanding of Incoterms, commercial terms, and supplier management.Good command of English (written and spoken);
