Overview
WineUp Madrid, based in Spain, is reimagining how people engage with wine. Our all-in-one platform connects consumers, producers, and experts in a gamified, social, and educational ecosystem. From interactive tastings and expert-led content to community-driven discovery and direct-to-consumer commerce, WineUp bridges the digital gap in a traditionally slow-moving and fragmented industry. We’re partnered with MasterChef to blend culture, tech, and taste to build the modern wine experience.
Your role
As Marketing Lead, you’ll drive our entire go-to-market motion. From launch strategy to growth loops, from content to conversion, from brand tone to business impact. You’ll be both architect and executor—with autonomy, speed, and a clear mission.
Your responsibilities
* Go-To-Market Strategy: Lead and co-design a multi-phase launch, from pre-launch hype and user activation to strategic positioning and post-launch acquisition. Your goal: build a community, drive downloads, and spark long-term engagement.
* Analytics & Performance: Define KPIs, set up tracking systems (SQL, Firebase, Hotjar, Google Analytics, PowerBI, etc.), and transform data into actionable insights that inform marketing, product, and business decisions.
* Monetization & Growth: Collaborate with the leadership team to shape and test monetization models, including marketplace revenue, data insights, and branded partnerships.
* Brand & Voice: Ensure all communication aligns with WineUp’s fresh, inclusive tone. From content to campaigns, help define how WineUp speaks to the world.
* Culture & Experimentation: Break the rules (intelligently). Try new ideas. Celebrate what works. Kill what doesn’t.
What we’re looking for
* 2+ years in marketing strategy or growth roles, ideally in startups, apps, or digital brands.
* Strong background in performance marketing, brand strategy, and user acquisition.
* Experience with analytics tools and performance tracking systems.
* Ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and leadership teams.
* Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
* Strong understanding of behavioral science and how to apply it to influence user decisions, build habits, and drive action.
Send us your profile, portfolio, or even a crazy idea for our launch.
