Job Description:
A vacancy for A400M Global Support Material Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe. The successful applicant will join the TASMA1 department. In the context of Airbus A400M Global Support (PBL contract including Spain, France, BELUX, and UK fleets), the Job Holder:
* Prepares and ensures with all areas in Material Services organization that contractual deliverables to the customer are provided on-time, on-cost, and on-quality, providing visibility of all steps in the supply chain contributing to the final delivery date.
* Coordinates and liaises end-to-end with other organizations within the supply chain, ensuring demand management, material delivery, acceptance by internal/external customers, including customs, tax, and export license compliance.
* Manages end-to-end material management for spares, repairs, and in-service support.
* Contributes to defining material support processes and procedures within the A400M Global Support model, ensuring lean and harmonized processes between central and local subsidiaries/customers.
* Identifies potential risks and contributes to mitigation strategies.
* Strengthens collaboration with customers and local teams in executing the contract, with particular focus on maintenance organizations.
Task & accountabilities:
* Controls and contributes to improving overall material services performance under the guidance of the Material Support Program Manager.
* Works according to the Services Program Directive, ensuring stakeholder buy-in for support service solutions.
* Ensures material support deliverables to the customer are on quality, on time, and on cost, working closely with internal and external teams.
* Prepares reports on material services performance for various review meetings to provide visibility on contract execution.
Required skills:
* Master's degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent.
* 3-5 years of experience in material services, project management, and data management.
* Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
