We seek a highly motivated and experienced Writer for our Content Operations team at Apple Retail. You have a deep passion for and an understanding of writing and linguistics, and act as brand guardian across our organization. You strive for linguistic excellence and collaboration across Apple and third parties. You have experience with Machine Translation (MT) and Large Language Models (LLM’s) to innovate workflows and enhance operational efficiency. You work smart, are able to prioritize across competing priorities and escalate when needed. You navigate internal networks and stakeholders to drive alignment and consistency across Apple in local language. You act as eyes and ears in market and local Retail stores, providing cultural insights to create exceptional employee and customer experiences for our integral audience.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Extensive experience in writing, editing, proofreading, and localizing marketing communications for consumer facing, high profile brands at an advertising agency, marketing communications group, or localization/transcreation agency. Nuanced understanding of language conventions, style and usage
- Post-editing and AIML experience, and a strong interest in evolving and scaling the craft of writing and translating through combined human and machine intelligence
- Proficiency in working with future proof technologies such as MT and LLM’s to enhance translation speed and accuracy
- Undergraduate or advanced degree and 7+ years editorial/writing experience with native speaker status for Spanish (Spain)
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities. Strong written and spoken English skills for internal communication and presentation
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
- Willingness to work across multiple timezones during peak periods and for global team connections
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Familiarity with U.S. English style, Apple products, communications, technical terminology and trademark issues
- Understanding of the creative development and production process
- Leadership in quality and tone of voice guidance to agency linguists
- Experience in style guide and glossary development and maintenance
- Working knowledge of translation tools (such as WorldServer) and MT/LLM’sWillingness to travel to international meetings in the US or other international locations, as well as travel locally for store/vendor visits
