AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) as Driveability | Ride & Handling e-Powertrain Expert. We are searching for highly motivated engineers with excelent background in e-powertrains and a good level of English and Spanish to work in our team at Valladolid.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Calibration of e-powertrain regarding torque demand, regenerative braking and other driveability related functions.
* Dataset development and validation to meet requirements in all ambient conditions
* Planning and execution of a vehicle testing program.
* Analysis of results and preparation of recommendations.
* Reporting of results to project board.
YOUR PROFILE
* Education: Mechanical/Automotive or similar Engineering degree
* Master\ 's or Ph.D. desirable
* Provided understanding of powertrains and vehicle dynamics.
* Competences on ETAS INCA, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, DDT2000;
Matlab simulink.
* More than 5 years of automotive industryrelated topics (calibration, validation, software development) experience desirable
* Expertise in e-powertrain calibration (regenerative braking, torque vectoring, chassis dynamics, ...)
* Knowledge of high voltage parts such as: BMS (Battery), Inverter (Electric Motor)
* English required, Spanish highly desirable, French is a plus
* High sense of responsibility, goal-orientedand social skills
* Extra curriculum activities like Formula Student is a plus
* Driving license required
