Design Engineer – Bellapart Group
Designing metal and glass structures for cutting‐edge architectural applications in close collaboration with the Bellapart design team. This role expands Bellapart's knowledge, quality and productivity as a key and versatile player.
Key Qualifications
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another relevant Engineering discipline, or a Technical Architectural degree.
Knowledge of basic structural principles, carpentry and lightweight facades.
Familiarity with European standards, building regulations and design guides.
Well‐developed communication skills.
Proven experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D and SolidWorks.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 5‐10% of working time).
High level of English proficiency; knowledge of Spanish and French is advantageous.
Main Responsibilities
Control and ensure that the design is completed in accordance with the agreed specification.
Collaborate with project and workshop teams to identify cost‐efficient fabrication methods and competitive suppliers.
Manage, control and meet deadlines.
Ensure customer satisfaction and guarantee good communication with all project stakeholders.
Provide sufficient information to ensure high and consistent quality during manufacture and installation.
Prepare and manage manufacturing orders.
Negotiate and manage internal and external suppliers.
