Position: Executive Officer in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice, School of Public Health (Ref.: ). Commencement as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Responsibilities Support the development and operations of the youth mental health project, focusing on evidence-based information for early detection, management, prevention of youth suicide and mental health disorders, and promotion of resilience and mental wellbeing in Hong Kong.
Report to the Principal Investigator and team; oversee project operations and maintain close communication and liaison with stakeholders.
Assist investigators and committees with project administration and meeting management.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including NGOs, funders, academic and research staff, government departments, community partners, social service providers, administrators, IT professionals, and others.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports; manage financial and HR matters, publicity and engagement, knowledge dissemination and exchange; organize conferences; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 3 years of working experience.
Versatile in general office administration and project management; supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; IT proficiency; ability to work independently with initiative.
Team player capable of prioritizing multiple tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision; tactful in handling sensitive and confidential issues.
Work experience in tertiary institutions would be an advantage.
Terms and Benefits The appointee will receive a highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will include a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 10% of basic salary.
