Annotator SME Role
* Annotate clinical data from different databases.
* Summarize physician-patient encounters, capturing clinical content with high accuracy for AI learning.
* Work on medical transcriptions, dialogues, and clinical texts.
* Cross-annotate and review work done by other specialists.
* Conduct Quality Control, addressing potential issues efficiently.
* Ensure annotation consistency across all tasks.
* Deliver tasks meeting pre-defined KPIs, metrics, and quality standards.
* Identify and escalate anomalies or patterns in assigned projects.
* Maintain daily communication with the Language Lead and PM on assignments, project status, and priorities.
* Foster a positive team environment.
* Ensure adherence to project specifications and procedures.
* Help improve processes, identifying gaps and suggesting solutions for optimization.
Key Responsibilities
The Annotator SME is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of annotated medical text, transcriptions, audio, and related data. This involves cross-checking annotations, providing feedback, and upholding compliance with project guidelines and industry standards.
Requirements
* A background in medicine, healthcare, medical translation, or life sciences is essential, as you will work with medical-specific content (e.g., transcriptions, text, and audio).
* You have at least 1 year of experience in scribing/transcription/coding experience in clinical documentation.
* A native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent listening skills in English (UK) and ability to understand diverse accents and dialects and varying dictation styles.
* Experience in annotation projects, ideally within the healthcare or medical domain is a plus.
* Strong communication skills.
* You have technical curiosity, and you have worked in different technical environments.
* You have high attention to detail and sensibility towards quality work.
* Experience in Translation, Philology, Linguistics, or related fields is a plus.
* Fluency in clinical parameters, medical terminology, knowledge of AHDI guidelines, and ontologies (such as ICD-10-CM, SNOMED-CT, CPT, RxNorm and LOINC) is a plus.
