Role summary
Tax Reporting Specialist at Sibelco supports Group Tax reporting across countries, works with the Manager Tax and VP Tax, and helps improve key tax processes globally. The role involves day-to-day tax reporting and contributing to more efficient and robust processes. This position is part of the Group Tax organization and collaborates with consolidation and finance teams in Bilbao and other regions.

Responsibilities
* Transfer Pricing Compliance & Operations
o Maintaining and updating the Master File, Local Files and benchmarking studies
o Coordinating operational transfer pricing discussions and managing transfer pricing tools (if implemented)
o Leading annual data gathering and liaising with external vendors and local finance teams
o Supporting tool implementation and safe harbor calculations
* Tax Accounting & Reporting
o Assisting the Tax Accounting & Reporting Manager with fact-finding and sanity checks
o Contributing to monthly and quarterly tax reporting cycles
* Process & Technology
o Identifying and implementing process improvements
o Leveraging technology tools for reporting and compliance
* Tax Audit Support
o Assisting the Central Tax Team in Belgium with documentation and follow-up of local tax audits
* External Auditor Coordination
o Supporting the preparation of Group activity overviews for pre-closing meetings with external auditors
What you bring to the table
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax reporting, tax accounting or a similar tax-focused role, ideally gained in a Big 4 environment or an international company
* Strong foundation in tax accounting, transfer pricing (TP) compliance and Pillar 2
* Exposure to minimum tax rules and/or operational transfer pricing, with a strong willingness to deepen this expertise
* Tech-savvy, with a continuous improvement mindset and experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
* Proactive, well-organized and able to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and a practical, solution-oriented approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions and countries
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Spanish, French or Dutch are an advantage
