Revlon, a leading multinational cosmetics company, is seeking anAnalytical Chemistto join the R&D; teamin Barcelona, reporting to the Integral Manager of Analytical Services.This is a temporary position lasting 9 months and requiring full on-site presence.The role focuses on executing analytical testing for raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with established specifications and methods, while supporting multiple R&D; projects in a dynamic environment.Key responsibilities:Perform routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials and finished products following established methods and specificationsExecute analytical techniques, including chromatography and wet chemistry, ensuring accurate data generation and interpretationSupport investigations related to non-conformities, product issues, or alternative raw materialsDevelop, validate, and improve analytical methods in line with regulatory and GMP standardsPrepare and review technical documentation, including reports, protocols, and validation documentsProvide analytical support to cross-functional teams across multiple projectsSupervise, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentationEnsure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of laboratory equipment and workspaceTrain and support junior team members when requiredPresent results and findings in a clear and structured mannerRequirements:Technical skillsDegree in Chemistry or related scientific field (Higher Vocational Training also considered with strong experience)Around 3 years of experience as an analytical chemist in an industrial environment, such as cosmetics, chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticalsHands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (LC/GC), ideally with OpenLab softwareExperience in potentiometric titrations and general wet chemistry techniquesAdvanced level of English and SpanishStrong Excel and general Office skillsCore competenciesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectivelyStr
