Ensure that Bold Technology continues to grow by identifying new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with clients who rely on engineering expertise to drive their projects forward. The Growth Manager combines commercial focus with talent strategy : on one hand, promoting Bold’s engineering services to generate new opportunities; on the other, identifying and hiring the right technical talent to deliver on those commitments. The ultimate goal is to connect the right people and services with each client at the right time, creating long-term value for both our partners and Bold.
Responsibilities Client Acquisition & Business Development
* Identify and convert new business opportunities in engineering services and talent-based project delivery.
* Collaborate with engineering and Applied Direction to design tailored solutions that meet client needs and ensure execution feasibility.
* Collect and submit the full cost breakdown of each proposal; the Applied Direction will define the required margin. Based on this, prepare the final client offer and anonymized CVs when needed.
* Stay ahead of market trends and client dynamics to anticipate needs and define go-to-market strategies.
* Support trade show planning and preparation of related marketing materials.
Strategic Talent Acquisition
* Lead full-cycle recruitment for specific engineering roles in client projects.
* Execute proactive sourcing strategies (headhunting, networking, and building talent pools), particularly in highly specialized or niche technical areas.
* Conduct competency-based interviews and collaborate with internal technical leads to validate skills and fit.
* Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates to ensure staffing agility.
* Support UK-based processes such as visa or client compliance requirements.
* Pass all relevant hiring / onboarding details to the People and IT teams, who manage execution.
Client Relationship Management
* Oversee service delivery follow-up, including PO reception, and payment tracking (only when escalated by Finance).
* Build long-term partnerships by maintaining trust, responsiveness, and a solution-oriented mindset.
* Gather feedback from clients and translate it into actionable insights to improve future proposals and delivery models.
* Identify upselling opportunities and expand collaboration with existing clients.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills And Experience
* 3–5 years of experience in technical recruitment, business development, or client project delivery.
* Previous experience in the motorsport sector is a strong plus.
* Track record in identifying and closing B2B opportunities, ideally within the engineering or technology sectors.
* Experience working closely with engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
* Proven ability to source and assess engineering talent using direct search and headhunting strategies
Desirable Skills And Additional Experience
* Desirable Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace, etc.), Business Administration or related.
* Additional training in recruitment, project delivery or commercial negotiation is a plus.
