The Senior Coastal Lead is responsible for fulfilling our promise to our customers through reliable first and last mile delivery. The role bridges commercial pursuits with operational efficiency.
This position is part of the Europe TbM (Transported by Maersk) Operations business unit. Europe TbM Operations is an engaged team responsible for delivering Maersk's commitments to our customers. Key tasks include ensuring cargo is loaded and delivered on time, managing vessel schedules and allocations, coordinating with partners and suppliers, driving port productivity, managing costs such as Container Yard Port Expenses and Foreign Feeder, and ensuring equipment availability for customers.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Serve as the first point of escalation for stakeholders.
2. Lead discussions with third-party suppliers to ensure service quality.
3. Prepare for and drive the modular network and cargo reliability strategies.
4. Enhance customer experience and support commercial growth.
5. Manage vessel scheduling, berth planning, and vessel delivery/redelivery plans.
6. Ensure cargo connection reliability at hub ports.
7. Maintain accurate feeder schedules for reliable network planning.
8. Manage bookings versus vessel allocations to optimize vessel and network utilization.
9. Communicate contingencies effectively, prioritizing customer impact.
10. Maximize utilization of services through forecast management and analysis.
11. Plan for seasonal demand changes collaboratively.
12. Support empty flow management in partnership with equipment and flow teams.
13. Lead process improvement initiatives aligned with Maersk's transformation and customer-centric goals.
Who we are looking for :
* Experience in logistics within the maritime industry.
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act swiftly under pressure.
* Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication skills.
* Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
* Ability to anticipate and mitigate logistics disruptions.
* Teamwork orientation and decision-making confidence.
