You play a critical role in financial planning, reporting and analysis. You’re responsible for supporting key management decisions, translating business topics into short term and long term financials and challenge them.The regular contact with the global accounting and billing teams, other controllers and especially the intensive interaction with the business managers is absolutely key to be successful in this role.We offer you a very dynamic working environment, while taking up different challenges, with a good balance between strategic view, routine operations and ad hoc analysis.Your main areas of responsibility are:Being the finance SPOC for the international business department by translating strategic decisions in financials and steering in the right direction by managing risks and opportunitiesPrepare a variety of financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive ManagementUnderstand the business model and international market to be able to challenge the business where neededOwner of the budget, forecast and long-term planning of your scopeStory-building of actuals and challenge the financials, in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as analyzing historical trends Interact with global accounting, billing teams and other country controllersProvide ad hoc analysis e.g. business cases to support management with financial decisionsInitiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processesProfileMaster degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance or similarYou have 5 years of relevant working experience within finance, controlling experience is a mustYou are pro-active, have a critical mindset and a hands-on attitudeYou have strong communication, problem-solving skills, are able to plan effectively and feel comfortable to take critical decisionsAffinity with both business and finance with a healthy business acumenYou have strong analytical and numerical skills You are fluent in spoken and written EnglishProficiency in MS Excel and PowerPointExperienced in working with SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of Power BI is a plus OfferYou will be working in a dynamic, international and fast growing company with ambitious plans for the future – on-the-job training in a role that offers opportunities for growthThe working culture at SD Worx is flexible, hands-on and pragmatic with a flat organization structure and short decision linesOccasional travel is requested to be close to the business and/or FinanceWe offer a motivating salary package with fringe benefits, in accordance with your knowledge and experienceWhether you want to become an expert in your field or to expand your knowledge more horizontally, there is always room to grow within SD Worx!From many places, we work as one, moving from better to best together.SD Worx lives diversity in the workplace.
