Overview Senior Business Development Manager – CSC, Madrid (Hybrid).
Role purpose: grow our relationship and revenue with clients, business partners and other intermediaries for the Spanish Corporate & Legal Services (CLS) business. This market-facing, revenue-driven role works with the CLS commercial team in EMEA and leverages support from client delivery, GRM, sales, and marketing to maximise client and business partner engagement and success.
Primary Responsibilities Work in close alignment with Business Unit Leaders in Spain and other CLS EMEA commercial team members to develop and execute commercial plans for these jurisdictions.
Be accountable for individual annual revenue growth targets as agreed with Business Unit leaders.
Drive new pipeline opportunities through proposal/RfP stages and the full onboarding process, ensuring a smooth handover to servicing teams.
Attend pitches, presentations, conferences and events; contribute to commercial plans and, with CSC Sales and Marketing support, draft technical articles and other marketing materials for these markets.
Document all activities in Salesforce.com (SFDC).
Provide support to local relationship managers, leveraging technical and legal expertise, and act as senior point of contact for clients in some cases.
Take on client directorship roles for Spanish clients as agreed with Business Unit leaders in Spain.
Develop client/business partner development strategies for each relationship to determine revenue protection/growth goals and identify product diversification opportunities, in collaboration with CLS leadership in Spain.
Be the primary driver of growing a commercial mindset amongst servicing colleagues in Spain.
Liaise with the Office of GRM to coordinate client interaction and align on shared plans for key clients in the GRM program.
Qualifications Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders and other business units and shared services executives.
Experience delivering exceptional client service.
In-depth knowledge of our business.
Proven experience in creating and executing business strategies and plans.
Several pipeline conversions, e.g., turning prospects into clients.
Existing network of business partners with proven experience delivering pipeline from this network.
Bilingual in Spanish with a high level of English (C1 or C2).
