The main goal of this role is to influence customers to develop the contact lens category by generating new users. The focus is on shifting the mindset of Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) and owners to be more proactive in offering contact lenses. The successful candidate will need to understand and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) within Key Accounts (KAs).
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze business opportunities and identify growth areas.
* Influence customers to adopt a proactive approach towards contact lenses.
* Understand the needs and characteristics of each channel, including independent stores, buying groups, and chains.
* Utilize basic tools to develop the contact lens category, such as customer journey mapping, POS data, databases, and organize customer training sessions.
* Implement the JBP strategy for each KA.
* Build the Misight category and promote its benefits, especially for children's health.
* Execute coverage plans based on customer segmentation.
Additional Duties:
* Follow the established sales process.
* Develop strong relationships with customers, including ECPs, owners, and sales staff.
* Negotiate price increases when necessary.
* Contribute positively to the team and understand CooperVision's programs and utilize them effectively.
* Complete all reporting and administrative tasks accurately.
* Maintain minimum product knowledge of CooperVision and competitors.
* Attend industry congresses and training sessions as required.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and adapt to different customer needs and goals, possess strategic vision, be organized, and capable of tracking calls and activities properly. Negotiation skills, resilience under pressure, and results orientation are also important qualities.
