Overview Description: For our factory in Cordoba we are currently looking for a Factory Finance Business Partner, who will be responsible for providing financial and controlling expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance for the factory. As a Finance Business Partner, you will also be responsible for supporting in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the project’s performances.
How you will make an impact: Validate accuracy of financial data and business information and reporting by performing reconciliations (inventories, material master data, variances).
Support preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements. Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for internal controls/external audits and reviews.
Prepare project invoices, manual Journal entries. Be responsible for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow in financial closings.
Work with Factory Controlling team to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analysis.
As special focus areas: product/business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis/inventory analysis, including cycle count results.
Participate in opportunity/risk identification, monitor that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented.
Support the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews. Participate in preparing the project cost report CAPEX follow-up; ensure accuracy of Fixed assets are correct in books and do periodic physical audits. Prepare repository of invoices associated (mandatory requirement for Grant concessions).
Your background: Graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration master’s degree or CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA; 3-5 years working experience.
Knowledge about accounting and work experience in the accounting field.
Fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving, analytical skill set and continuous improvement mindset, eagerness to learn, organizational skills, attention to detail and team-player.
High sense of responsibility; commitment and accountability are skills very appreciated.
