Experteer Overview In this role, you will develop Should-Cost models for powertrain components and analyze manufacturing processes to tighten cost estimates. You will support procurement through RFQ evaluation and technical negotiations, while guiding design decisions with DtC and Value Engineering. You will track cost evolution across the product life cycle and maintain cost databases for leadership reporting. This position offers exposure to cross-functional, international teams and a chance to influence cost, performance, and durability in a fast-moving automotive environment.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Develop detailed Should-Cost models for powertrain components - Analyze manufacturing processes to determine cycle times, overheads, and labor costs - Support procurement during RFQ and participate in negotiations with data-driven analysis - Partner with R&D during early design phases to influence geometry and specifications for cost targets (Value Engineering) - Propose alternative materials or processes to reduce costs while preserving functionality - Monitor cost evolution from concept to SOP and maintain cost databases - Prepare cost status reports and gap analyses for executive managementResponsabilidades - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology Management (minimum Bachelor) - 3–5 years in cost engineering, manufacturing engineering, or technical purchasing in automotive - Strong technical knowledge of powertrain systems (ICE or EV) - Deep understanding of metal forming, casting, machining, heat treatment, and automated assembly - Advanced MS Office skills (Excel: pivot tables, lookups, macros) - Strong negotiation and data-driven analytical skills - Ability to work in cross-functional, international teams - English language mandatory;
