Overview
The IT Director is responsible for defining, leading, and executing the technology strategy of MT Group with a strong focus on digital transformation and cybersecurity. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business orientation and plays a key role in strategic and operational decision-making that directly impacts efficiency, growth, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the IT and digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives
* Lead and develop a mid-sized IT function, combining internal resources and external providers
* Manage the IT budget, prioritizing high-impact investments
* Lead key initiatives related to digitalization, process automation, and system modernization
* Define and monitor KPIs related to performance, security, and service quality (SLAs)
* Design and execute the digital transformation roadmap (ERP, B2B, B2C, CRM, BI, automation, system integration)
* Define and enforce cybersecurity policies, access management, backup, and disaster recovery plans
* Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors, cloud services, and security solutions
* Effective team management
Requirements
* University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree in Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, or an MBA is a plus
* Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in IT roles. At least 3–5 years in leadership positions (IT Manager, Head of IT, IT Director)
* Proven experience leading digital transformation projects in mid-sized companies
* Hands-on experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and cloud environments
* Systems architecture, integrations, and business applications
* Project management methodologies
* Strong technical background with the ability to deep dive when required
* Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Risk-aware mindset with a strong focus on security
