Job Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Optimization Engineer to join our Customer Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the optimal performance of our customer's communication networks. You will be responsible for analyzing network performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance network efficiency and user experience.
Responsibilities
Represent the NPO team in Nokia’s NPI activities across Europe, acting as main technical contact and liaising with R&D; for advanced support.
Lead technical workshops for customers on 5G and emerging technologies.
Validate and test the latest RAN software in lab and commercial networks.
Design, implement, and evaluate new 5G features to ensure optimal customer performance.
Mentor and support global remote delivery teams to maintain quality and timely execution.
Analyze and optimize network design, performance, spectrum, and capacity across regions.
Plan and execute lab and field test cases based on traffic trends and customer needs.
Key Skills And Experience
7+ years of experience in 4G/5G radio network planning and optimization activities.
Expertise in Nokia 4G/5G SW & HW different releases, Nokia’s RAN parameters, counters, KPIs and features.
Excellent knowledge of 3GPP releases and protocols.
Ability to lead all activities for the maintenance and improvement of network KPI's.
In depth troubleshooting capability for analysis of network statistics, KPIs, UE logs, eNB/gNB logs.
Long term technical career objective in NPO domain.
Fluent in English, other language skills are plus “French, German, Italian …”
