Inside the sales area, we are searching for entry-level professionals, preferably with a technical background in an engineering degree, with an appetite for developing a career in the Sales Department of the Aeronautical Division of Gaptek. The position will report directly to the Sales Director of the Aeronautical Division. The role is based in Barcelona, Spain.
About your experience: Not necessarily required, although more than 2 years of experience in the aviation sector (airports, consultancy, airlines, or MROs) would be preferable. Experience in sales departments of the industrial or construction sectors will also be considered positively.
TASKS:
* Assist in the commercial activities of the Sales Department of the Aeronautical Division, supporting sales growth mainly in Europe, the Middle East, North America, and worldwide.
* Proactively contact existing clients and potential clients, maintaining updated records in the CRM system.
* Provide administrative support to Regional Sales Representatives and the Sales Director, including tasks like preparing presentations and proposals.
* Organize meetings, prepare agendas, participate, and take minutes as directed by the Sales Director.
* Ensure accuracy and meet deadlines established by the Sales Director.
* Maintain and update company information systems, including CRM, databases, and spreadsheets.
* Coordinate with the Financial Department to raise orders and process invoices.
* Support the organization and attendance at international business tradeshows.
* Stay informed on market developments and collaborate with the Marketing Department on business development efforts.
SKILLS:
* Native Spanish speaker, fluent in English; additional European languages, especially French, are a plus.
* Strong business acumen.
* Proactive and team-oriented.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Self-motivated and adaptable to change.
* Organized, with the ability to manage CRM systems effectively.
* Results-oriented.
* Willingness to travel approximately 10%, mainly within Europe and occasionally overseas.
* Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
* Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
