We are seeking an experienced and strategic R&D; Manager to oversee and drive our research and development activities in Spain. This role will play a key part in fostering innovation, leading new product development initiatives, and ensuring that all projects align with the company’s quality, regulatory, and business objectives. Responsibilities
\n
· Develop and implement research and development strategies in line with company objectives
\n
· Plan, coordinate, and monitor R&D; projects, ensuring timely execution and effective budget management
\n
· Develop and lead product technology transfer projects, ensuring a successful transition from development to manufacturing
\n
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Production, and Marketing, to support efficient and successful product development
\n
· Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and internal quality requirements
\n
· Identify and evaluate new technologies, materials, and processes to strengthen innovation capabilities
\n
· Prepare technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for senior management
\n
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D; processes, practices, and project outcomes Qualifications
\n
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy
\n
· Preferably 5+ years of experience in R&D; management within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or medical device sectors
\n
· Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
\n
· Proven experience in product development from concept to commercialization
\n
· Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements related to product development, including EMA and FDA frameworks
\n
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
\n
· Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken Preferred Skills
\n
· Experience with innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking or Lean R&D;
\n
· Knowledge of formulation development, process optimization, and scale-up
