Location
Baxter Planning is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with offices in Spain and India.
Though this role will mostly be remote, the position will be based out of our rapidly growing Barcelona office.

Position Overview
As a QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our main logistics tool (Service Parts tool).
You will design creative ways to break software and identify potential bugs.
Responsibilities include creating test plans, collaborating with developers as a member of the Agile Team, and liaising with subject matter experts, Product Owners, software engineers, and other stakeholders to contribute to product design, testability, and implementation.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for all quality aspects in a Scrum team: manual testing, regression testing, bug tracking, bug prevention, and process improvement.
* Develop test plans based on feature requirements and a deep understanding of application behavior to verify functionality, usability, performance, and reliability.
* Conduct thorough manual testing of web applications, APIs, and other software components.
* Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working with the development team for timely resolution.
* Participate in planning and estimation of testing efforts, providing feedback on risks and areas for improvement.
* Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
* 6+ years of experience as a QA manual tester or similar role in a software development environment.
* At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, service parts, logistics, e-commerce, or CRM.
* Proficiency in writing clear test plans, cases, and bug reports.
* Knowledge of the Gherkin format.
* Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Understanding of logistics flows.
* Knowledge of SQL queries.
* Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
* Availability to work in the afternoon.
