We are recruiting a Metges/Sses Especialistes Medicina Familiar I Comunitària for the Cap Barcelona department at GRUPO NS. The position is based at the Parc Sanitari Pere Virgili, serving the Barceloneta, Vila Olímpica, and Larrard communities. Responsibilities Provide primary care services, including minor surgical procedures, cryotherapy, infiltrations, nocturnal pulse oximetry, ultrasound, and tobacco cessation counseling. Participate in a multidisciplinary teaching unit for medical and nursing residents and collaborate with university students. Contribute to primary care research projects funded by European programmes and support cross-disciplinary initiatives such as Àgil, Amida, and AToDOM. Manage referral processes, conduct social needs assessments, and deliver preventive health promotion activities. Adhere to established protocols for case selection, referral, and follow-up, coordinating with community pharmacists and support staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Medicine and Surgery from a Spanish university or a duly recognized equivalent. Specialisation in Family and Community Medicine. Desirable experience in minor surgery, cryotherapy, infiltrations, and research/teaching roles. Proficiency with e-CAP and basic IT skills. Strong teamwork, organization, adaptability, communication, and empathy. Additional Information Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible hours; Saturdays on a rotating basis (one every seven weeks). Remuneration follows the collective agreement for acute care hospitals, primary care centres, and mental health facilities under the SCS (SISCAT).
