As a Network Engineer in our Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and supporting network architectures that enable reliable SCADA operations across renewable energy plants. Your work will directly impact the performance, security, and scalability of our systems, helping accelerate the green energy transition.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network configurations for new SCADA deployments, support existing installations remotely, and drive improvements in network standardization across our global portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide remote network support for operational SCADA systems, ensuring connectivity, performance, and reliability.
- Design and implement improvements to standardize network architectures across multiple plant environments.
- Configure and maintain networking equipment including switches, firewalls, and point-to-point links.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve connectivity challenges.
- Contribute to network security practices and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Support infrastructure projects by providing technical expertise in network design and implementation.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, you have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in network administration, ideally supporting industrial systems or similar.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall policies.
- Hands-on experience configuring switches (e.g., Cisco, HP, Mikrotik), firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto), and point-to-point network links.
- Ability to work remotely with international teams and support geographically distributed infrastructures.
- Solid understanding of network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.

It is a plus if you have:

- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Experience with network automation or scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial networks.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies or IoT systems.
- Experience working in regulated environments with high availability requirements.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and their network requirements in industrial or energy contexts.
