Would you like to be part of the project? /p pb The Global TPS (Third Party Spend) Optimization Manager /b will be responsible for the strategic development and operational execution of global initiatives optimising the Third Party Spend. /p p This role will ensure that procurement activities align with the company#39;s overall strategic goals, delivering cost reduction savings, quality improvements, and risk mitigation. /p p The ideal candidate will combine procurement knowledge, specifically in the area of strategic sourcing, with high experience in project management. He/she will focus on global projects that will also demand a good understanding of the regional and local business needs to bring real measurable benefits. /pp He/she will manage relationships with various stakeholders across divisions while integrating business needs and proposing competitive value-added solutions for the businesses. /p pbu Main tasks and responsibilities /u /b /p pb Third Party Spend Optimization: /b /pulli Identify and prioritise opportunities for overall cost optimization, developing TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Models. /lili Prepare the business cases associated to these opportunities. /lili Present these opportunities to the top management for internal buy-in. /li /ul pb Strategic Sourcing: /b /pulli Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for those goods and services identified as targets for optimization, including: a) demand management for those goods and services, b) market analysis (current situation and future trends), c) supply base analysis, d) sourcing strategy design, e) sourcing strategy execution (tendering/negotiation), f) contract management, g) sourcing strategy implementation and h) control and reporting of outcomes against defined targets. /lili Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure sourcing strategies meet business needs. /lili Manage supplier performance, including conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues or concerns. /li /ul pb Contract Management: /b /pulli Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers/contractors to formalise the agreements achieved. /lili Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standards. /lili Monitor contract performance and compliance, managing any changes or renewals as necessary. /li /ul pb Stakeholder Engagement: /b /pulli Work closely with global/regional/local procurement teams, business stakeholders, finance, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budget constraints. /lili Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the evolution of each initiative tackled and goals achieved. /li /ul pb Risk Management: /b /pulli Identify and mitigate risks associated with the global projects, including supply chain, financial and compliance issues. /lili Develop contingency plans and ensure supply continuity for critical projects. /li /ul pb Continuous Improvement: /b /pulli Implement best practices in procurement processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement function. /lili Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovations. /li /ul pbu Required Qualifications /u /b /p ulli Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent. /lili5 years of experience in similar positions, either in an international Procurement department or in an international business consulting company specialized in Procurement. /lili Excellent at sourcing / negotiation. /lili Proven ability to develop and maintain influential and collaborative relationships at a variety of levels. /lili Professional proficiency in English and Spanish required. /li /ul pbu What do we offer? /u /b /p ulli Permanent contract /lili Full-time position /lili Flexible compensation plan (medical insurance, transportation, childcare, meal vouchers) /lili Employee parking /li /ul p Applus+ is an equal opportunity employer.
