Job Description
RESPONSABILITIES
* Develop and manage detailed industrial plans and schedules for various space projects, encompassing design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases.
* Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to gather requirements and ensure a robust plan alignment.
* Implement and maintain planning tools and software (e.g., SAP, MS Project, Planisware or specialized planning applications) to track progress, identify deviations, and generate reports.
* Proactively identify and analyze potential production constraints, resource conflicts, and schedule risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
* Develop “what-if” scenarios and contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project timelines.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, schedule adherence, and resource utilization, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
* Participate in industrial/manufacturing readiness reviews and provide input on manufacturing feasibility and capacity.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies within the space sector.
* Support cost control initiatives by optimizing resource allocation and production lead times.
SKILLS
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
* Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in industrial planning, production scheduling, or project management within a complex manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace or space industry.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
