**Senior Automation and Motion Control Engineer**
**DESCRIPTION**
This team and its technologies are part of our NDT products business division, leading in the nuclear, industrial, and aerospace sectors internationally, supplying robotic inspection systems for the quality control of nuclear and aerospace components.
**TASKS**
- Participation in national and international projects supplying automated NDT inspection systems, focusing on activities related to system automation, motion control and robotics.
- Analysis and definition of system requirements, in direct collaboration with project management and the mechanical, electrical, and software development teams.
- Design, programming, and parameterization of the automation and motion controller, drives, safety, communications, etc.
- Commissioning and validation of the system both, at the headquarters and at the client's facilities.
- Development of technical documentation: Requirement specifications, technical and operational manuals, test and acceptance protocols.
- Support for incident resolution and after-sales service.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Mainly valued:
- **Education**:Industrial Engineering / Mechatronics / Electronics / Automation (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
- **Experience**:
- At least **3-5 years of demonstrable experience** in automation projects, programming and commissioning of industrial control systems including motion control, having actively being implied in the design, programming, and commissioning phases of PLCs, motion controllers (drives, robots, NCs...), safety and fieldbuses.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in the use of control technologies (PLC, Motion Control, Safety, Communications) from **BECKHOFF** and/or **SIEMENS**:
- **BECKHOFF**: TwinCAT 3 - PLC, Motion NC/PTP, TwinSAFE, EtherCAT...
- **SIEMENS**: TIA Portal, S7-1500 controllers and their F and T variants, Safety, Profinet...
- Programming according to IEC 61131-3 (LAD, SCL), Motion Control (PLCopen)
- Experience in programming, parameterization, and commissioning of axes/electric motors (current-speed-position control loops, DC-Brushed/Brushless motors, encoders, resolvers )
- Sensor and actuator’s selection: Electromechanical, pneumatic, safety, drives, servomotors
- Interpretation and analysis of technical documentation: electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, mechanical drawings...
- Management and follow-up of suppliers.
- Working in multidisciplinary teams (electrical design, mechanical design, robotics and motion control, manufacturing and assembly...)
- Languages: English (B2)

- SIEMENS: HMI (WinCC, Simatic Panels), Drives (SINAMICS V90, G120, S210)

- CNC technology: Sinumerik 840Dsl / Sinumerik One
- Fieldbuses: Profibus, Profinet/Profisafe, EtherCAT, Modbus...
- Industrial communications: OPC-UA, MQTT, REST

- Own driving license
- Availability to travel: 2-4 trips/year (2-3 weeks per trip)
