Data Sharing Spaces
, as part of the
Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – Next Generation EU
(Sectoral Data Spaces Programme).MissionProvide specialized technical support in the
management, integration, and exploitation of data
for the creation of a
Data Space focused on social housing. The goal is to promote
institutional interoperability ,
data transparency, and
accessibility
by combining heterogeneous data sources related to housing, complemented by contextual layers (sociodemographic, urban planning, facilities, etc.).ResponsibilitiesMaintain technical communication and follow-up with public entities participating in the project.Coordinate technical actions with the project’s technology providers.Support the design and implementation of data integration and normalization flows for social housing data from collaborating public administrations.Assist in defining and implementing the search and access mechanisms for the Data Space.Support the onboarding of participating entities into the Data Space.Report on project status in terms of deadlines, budget, and quality, in accordance with the criteria of the Head of Service.TasksContribute to the definition of shared vocabularies to ensure data interoperability.Integrate and harmonize data sources from various public administrations related to social housing.Support the collection, ingestion, and transformation of data from public administrations (Excel, ERPs, databases).Define mapping models between original data sources and standardized semantic terms.Support technology providers in the proper deployment of Data Space components (Connector, Identity Service) and provide technical assistance for their correct use.Contribute to the creation of the Data Space search tool and promote the integration of predefined queries by domain and/or dataset.Collaborate in the publication, visualization, and technical documentation of data, facilitating its use by public, technical, and research entities.Provide assistance to participating entities in data integration and sharing processes.Participate in training activities for end users on the use of Data Space tools.Support the PEOPLE project management in all necessary aspects related to the Data Space.Candidate Requirements and Evaluation CriteriaBachelor's degree in
Computer Engineering ,
Data Engineering, or equivalent qualification — or
proven professional experience .Basic knowledge of
Data Space technologies
(IDSA-RAM, EDC, Gaia-X, FIWARE).Experience with
data transformation tools and processes
(Extract – Transform – Load).Proficiency in
relational database systems
(PostgreSQL, MySQL) and
tabular data formats
(CSV, Excel).Advanced
technical English
skills.Ability to work in a
multidisciplinary team
and strong
