The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring finance leader to shape the financial strategy and performance of MTG’s newly established Midcore District, a collective of world-class studios creating genre-defining midcore mobile games.
As the most senior finance leader in the District, you’ll partner closely with the Midcore CEO and Group CFO to drive growth, investment, and performance across our current and future studios. You’ll combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring financial discipline while empowering creativity and smart risk-taking.
You’ll lead the District’s finance agenda, guide business decisions through data and insight, and work closely with studio finance teams to ensure alignment and excellence. This is a role for a finance leader who thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments, where partnership, pace, and ambition go hand in hand.
You’ll lead a small direct team (including a Senior Controller and Senior Accountant) while collaborating across the Group’s finance community.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the strategic finance partner to the Midcore CEO, shaping and delivering the District’s growth ambitions.
- Own the District’s long-term financial strategy, ensuring that capital allocation, investment prioritization, and business performance management enable sustainable growth and profitability across studios.
- Collaborate with studio CFOs and finance teams to strengthen local performance and ensure alignment with Group standards.
- Establish and oversee a unified financial performance framework across studios, aligning KPIs, forecasting standards, and performance reviews.
- Lead the development of forecasting and investment models that inform strategic decisions and optimize resource deployment at District and studio levels.
- Partner with Group and District leadership on strategic initiatives, including M&A;, studio integrations, and new business evaluations, and integration planning, and ensuring financial insights drive high-quality decision-making on investments and profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with MTG Group financial governance, reporting, and control frameworks, including IFRS, audit readiness, and risk management across all District entities.
