About the role :
As the IT Service Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all IT incidents and service requests submitted through the Service Desk. You will respond promptly, resolve issues when possible, and escalate accordingly within the agreed timescales.

Please note : We have three facilities in the Greater Barcelona area, and regular on-site presence at all sites is required.
Responsibilities :
1. Execute IT demand management processes (incidents, service requests, etc.)
2. Triaging of new requests at the IT Service Desk
3. Provide first-line support for all IT Service Desk requests, resolving or escalating as needed
4. Attempt resolution of uncommon requests within your confidence and authority levels
5. Escalate complex requests/incidents to IT Service Specialist (II)
6. Create draft knowledge base articles from learnings
7. Support IT assets hands-on when required
About you :
1. Previous experience in IT support/service desk roles; experience in a global organization is advantageous
2. Fluent in English and Spanish
3. Knowledge and judgment in resolving/escalating a wide range of IT incidents
4. Ownership in delivering excellent service and problem-solving skills
5. Willingness to travel regularly across three sites in the Barcelona region
6. Ability to work towards and achieve outcomes within set timescales
7. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
8. Confident communicator capable of building trusted stakeholder relationships
9. Valid driving license due to travel requirements
