We are currently looking for a talented and highly motivated Technical Lead to join an innovative team focused on delivering high-quality, data-intensive solutions and driving technical excellence across the engineering community.
In this role, you will play a key part in defining, designing, and implementing advanced AI-based and data-driven technical solutions within a complex, large-scale environment. You will help bring clarity to story-level delivery, remove blockers, and ensure fast, high-quality feature development aligned with strategic business goals.
You will also contribute to product architecture, design robust and scalable solutions, and ensure engineering standards remain high across development practices. In addition, you will promote innovation, continuous improvement, and a collaborative, product-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership
* Define and document architecture blueprints aligned with product strategy and roadmap.
* Determine the best technical approaches to build, secure, operate, and maintain products.
2. Product & Feature Delivery
* Ensure product backlogs are refined and that features and user stories meet the agreed definitions of done.
* Clarify engineering questions and help ensure robust story definitions.
3. Engineering Excellence
* Define and enforce high standards for code quality, testing, assurance, and security.
* Maintain a strong automated testing strategy, aligned with a zero-manual-testing mindset.
* Improve and enhance automated deployment and validation processes.
4. Cloud & Infrastructure
* Lead technical solutions across multi-cloud environments, especially Azure and AWS.
* Promote and implement DevSecAIOps practices and automation improvements.
5. Collaboration & Communication
* Foster strong collaboration between engineering teams, product leadership, and business stakeholders.
* Communicate complex technical decisions clearly to non-technical audiences.
6. Risk & Compliance
* Identify and manage technical risks, technical debt, and compliance requirements.
* Ensure auditable evidence of requirement fulfilment, adherence to security standards, and operational readiness.
7. Mentorship & Team Development
* Mentor team members, encourage knowledge sharing, and help develop technical capabilities across the team.
* Promote psychological safety and high engagement within the engineering environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles within data-intensive and AI-driven environments.
* Strong hands-on experience delivering production-ready applications with frontend (Next.js), backend (Python), and data / ML components.
* Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines and workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, Trunk-Based Development, and E2E test integration.
* Solid understanding of DevSecAIOps practices and secure coding standards.
* Experience working in agile environments, using tools such as Jira for backlog refinement and story estimation.
* Experience working with teams using AI tools across the SDLC (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams.
* Fluent English.
Nice to Have:
* Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with observability and monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
* Background in automation frameworks and testing strategies aligned with zero-manual-testing.
* Knowledge of Confluence or similar tools for technical documentation.
* Experience leading cross-functional teams in distributed environments.
* Understanding of enterprise security frameworks and auditability requirements.
