Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase waste paper from suppliers across Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best quality and pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Oversee logistics and shipping for the smooth export of purchased waste paper, most of which is exported to India.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping and export regulations.
- Stay informed about market trends and industry changes.
- Frequently travel to meet suppliers and inspect products within Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
- Occasionally travel to India and Dubai (at least once a year) for meetings and business purposes.
- Provide regular reports on purchasing trends, market conditions, and performance.
**Requirements**:
- Experience as a Buyer/Trader in waste paper or related industries is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in the recycling industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, export buying, and supplier management.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Spain, Portugal, and Italy, as well as to India and Dubai at least once a year.
- Must have a valid passport/visa for travel within Europe and for international travel.
- Valid driving license required.
- Ability to work independently from home and manage tasks remotely.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (particularly Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian) are an advantage.
- Capable of managing tax obligations in your own country, as the company is based in Dubai.
