To strengthen our Global Tech Hub in Barcelona, we are looking for an IS/IT Operations & Vendor Management Lead to join our Product Stream Operations Team in the Finance and Legal Department.**Position Snapshot**- ** Location**: Nestlé Global Hub in Barcelona, Spain.- ** Stream**: IT Finance & Legal.- ** Type of Contract**: Permanent.- ** Type of Work**:Hybrid.- ** Work Language**:Fluent Business English.**The role**To strengthen our General Tech Hub in Barcelona, we are looking for an IS/IT Operations Manager to join our IT Finance and Legal Department.- In this position, you will be supported by the Product Stream Operations Manager as you guide and educate our Product Group Managers and their teams on Operational topics including Vendor Management, IT Service Performance, and IT Service Management Best Practices.- You will coach the teams on effective Vendor Management practices, supporting them in defining their sourcing strategies, demand shaping and guiding them how to leverage the IT sourcing needs in line with the IT Operating Model. Strengthening partnerships with our vendors and effectively managing issues and escalations will be crucial to your success.- Working closely with the product groups, you will leverage our data to extract valuable insights related to IT Performance. Based on these insights, you will propose recommendations to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement. Your dedication to leading by example and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies will be key.- Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead or participate in ad-hoc transversal strategic initiatives aligned with stream priorities.- You will collaborate with and support your colleagues in the Product Stream Operations team, always striving to achieve operational excellence as #OneTeam.**What you’ll do**- Track and monitor trends, report progress against agreed baselines, communicate and provide transparency on key IT performance, product group value and IT transformation metrics- Guide the teams on operational best practices, tools, and ways of working to ensure alignment with the O-CIO and transversal streams.- Be a champion for continuous improvement in every aspect of our operations, demonstrating curiosity and enthusiasm for automation and new technologies such as GenAI. Look for ways to make a difference and reduce the burden of administrative and repetitive tasks.- Support and influence the implementation of an effective vendor ecosystem management practices, ensuring accountability and driving value delivery for the Product Groups.- Coordinate Vendor Management Activities within the Product Groups, including defining and executing vendor governance, supporting the management and redefinition of vendor contracts, shaping demands, developing relationships, and management of financial processes related to sourcing.- Drive external sourcing in-line with both the IT strategy and the IT sourcing strategy, considering the nuances of the team, and always looking for a balance between theory and practice. Review vendor landscape to align with the product strategy & roadmap. Provide expertise on how to evaluate and identify optimal sourcing options. Define and participate in RFIs and RFPs to select product group solutions, when appropriate.- Support the definition of statements of work, looking for ways to drive business value through increased vendor productivity and cost efficiency in service consumption.- Coordinate & oversee the definition, testing, and implementation of cross product projects, such as SAP upgrades, W360 initiatives, etc.**We offer you**We offer more than just a job.
