We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate a large-scale, international software development initiative. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 90+ associates distributed across multiple countries, including Application Architects, Lead Business Analysts, and Airlines Industry SMEs. The project involves designing and deploying a microservices-based application using Java technologies on AWS.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a global development team of 90+ associates across multiple time zones.- Coordinate the efforts of Application Architects, Business Analysts, and SMEs to ensure alignment with project goals.- Oversee the design and implementation of a microservices-based architecture using Java technologies.- Ensure successful deployment and operation of the application on AWS infrastructure.- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.- Ensure adherence to quality standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.- Drive continuous improvement and agile best practices across the project lifecycle.Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large-scale software development projects with international teams.- Strong technical background in Java, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment (preferably AWS).- Experience working with cross-functional roles including architects, analysts, and SMEs.- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.- Experience in the airline or travel industry.- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.- Multilingual communication skills.
