We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to take charge of a premium fashion brand store in Barcelona's El Corte Inglés department store.
The Store Manager is a key position in the store, connecting and engaging with the team and customers, ensuring daily activities are managed effectively, and steering the shop and team’s performance towards success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the business with a strong understanding of performance drivers and commercial priorities.
- Monitor, analyse and optimise key performance indicators to ensure consistent results.
- Design and implement action plans to boost sales and overall business performance.
- Build long-term customer loyalty by delivering an excellent experience and developing strong client relationships.
- Ensure the correct execution of internal processes related to stock management, cash handling, logistics and operational reporting in line with head office guidelines.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, guaranteeing efficiency and compliance at all levels.
People Management & Development
- Lead, motivate and develop the team through ongoing coaching and support.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to help the team achieve and exceed monthly objectives.
- Create a positive and collaborative work environment based on trust, respect and open communication.
- Identify potential, recruit new talent and contribute to the retention and development of high performers.
- Ensure that company standards, policies and procedures are clearly communicated and consistently applied.
- Manage team schedules, working hours and holiday planning with a structured and forward-thinking approach to ensure smooth operations throughout the year.
Profile
- Proven experience in a retail management role, typically between 2 and 5 years, depending on the size and business scope of the store.
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear focus on results and performance.
- Natural leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities.
- Customer-centric approach, with a strong sensitivity to service excellence.
- Highly organised, structured and attentive to detail in daily operations.
- Genuine interest in product knowledge and market trends, with an affinity for premium environments, fashion, art and design.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
