Role Purpose
Drive strategic growth and profitability within the Industrial segment by managing key accounts and building long-term partnerships. This role represents Carrier’s interests, develops tailored solutions for complex customer needs, and ensures alignment with business objectives through proactive account planning and relationship management.
Role Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute account strategies for assigned industrial customers, ensuring alignment with regional and global priorities.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers to secure long-term agreements and recurring revenue.
3. Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects; lead bid preparation and negotiations.
4. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Service, Engineering, Finance) to deliver customized solutions and ensure operational excellence.
5. Monitor account performance, forecast accurately, and maintain CRM discipline for pipeline and opportunity management.
6. Represent Carrier at trade shows, industry events, and customer workshops to promote solutions and strengthen brand visibility.
7. Provide insights on market trends and customer needs to influence product development and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
8. Education: University degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
9. Experience: Minimum 5 years in account management or business development within HVAC or industrial sectors; 3 years with advanced degree.
10. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC systems and service offerings; proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and negotiation techniques.
11. Competencies: Strategic thinking, relationship building, communication and presentation skills, financial acumen, and ability to manage complex projects.
12. Languages: Spanish and Fluent English; willingness to travel as required.
