Be part of a team where: The City Partnerships Intern supports the City Partnerships team in strengthening engagement with public authorities across Europe and enhancing their participation in EIT Urban Mobility programmes. The selected candidate will contribute to city insight development, ecosystem intelligence, partner coordination, innovation matchmaking preparation and knowledge management. This role offers hands-on exposure to European innovation ecosystems, public sector engagement and urban mobility funding mechanisms. It is designed for candidates seeking responsibilities in analysis, coordination and stakeholder engagement within a European context. Join our team and be part of the change. Main responsibilities: Support structured public authority intelligence by mapping strategic priorities across Europe, researching city policies and programmes, and ensuring effective knowledge management. Support city participation in innovation programmes (e.g. Strategic Innovation Call, RAPTOR, City Observer Group) and facilitate matchmaking with EIT Urban Mobility-supported start-ups and SMEs. Assist in coordinating city involvement in events (e.g. Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress) and initiatives (e.g. City Club), prepare knowledge-sharing materials, and support community engagement activities. Contribute to city impact stories and presentation materials to strengthen the visibility of projects, peer to peer learning, and strategic outcomes. Assist in delivering citizen engagement and training activities, including coordination, outreach, evaluation and communication. Contribute to broader City Partnerships team activities and support the implementation of EIT Urban Mobility’s strategic agenda. What you will bring along the way: An ideal candidate will strive to generate positive environmental and social impact in line with EIT Urban Mobility’s mission. Must-have: Master’s degree (completed less than 2 year ago or ongoing) in Public Policy, Innovation Management, Urban Studies, European Affairs, Sustainable Mobility, or a related field. Proficiency in English (C1 level or equivalent). Strong analytical and structuring skills. Ability to synthesise complex information into concise briefs. Good organisational skills and ability to support event coordination. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive workplace culture. Nice-to-have: Previous internship or academic experience related to cities, innovation ecosystems or urban mobility. Experience in an international or European environment.
