Oliver Wyman is seeking an experienced Talent Manager (Resource Manager) to join our team in Madrid. The role requires a hybrid working policy, with the successful candidate working in the Madrid office approximately 60% of the time.
About the Role:
The Talent Management team is responsible for the optimal mobilization of consultants across external client projects, balancing the commercial needs of the business with the individual needs of the consultants.
As a SEE&I Talent Manager, you will be responsible for staffing and talent management initiatives for a pool of consultants in the Athens office, supporting the Private Capital Industry. You will work closely with the broader European Talent Management team and local/European Partners.
What the role involves:
* Talent management (resource management) for Athens-based consultants, including onboarding, performance management, and career development.
* Staffing consultants onto external client projects, balancing project requirements and personal development objectives.
* Overseeing local utilization to minimize trapped capacity.
* Managing 40-60 consultants, including onboarding, performance reviews, and career planning.
* Leading Mid-Year and Year-End performance management processes.
* Providing support to consultants on work-related issues such as career development, work-life balance, and conflict resolution.
* Collaborating with HR functions on training, performance management, and recruitment.
* Participating in project-based initiatives.
Who we’re looking for:
* An experienced Talent Manager with staffing and professional development background, ideally from management consulting, Big 4, or professional services.
* Fluent in English; Greek language skills are a plus.
* Excellent communication skills to work effectively across diverse cultures and personalities.
* Proactive, high-performing multi-tasker who owns their work and manages details well.
* A team player capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluency in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
