About Traverse Health
Traverse Health is a real-world evidence provider from the EU, operating in emerging markets. We develop cutting-edge digital solutions for the healthcare and life-science industry. By connecting healthcare organizations with the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, we maximize the potential of patient data to support smarter healthcare decisions and improve patient outcomes. Our services and solutions cater to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies, healthcare providers, CROs, health insurance providers, healthtech, drug discovery, and beyond.
The Role
We are looking for a Proposals & Business Development Analyst or Associate to join our commercial team. You will work at the front end of our business — shaping how we present Traverse Health to pharma and biotech clients and directly contributing to new business generation.
Your core focus will be developing proposals, requests for proposals, pricing formation and pitch materials — translating scientific and commercial contexts into compelling narratives that win business.
This role is for someone who enjoys structured thinking, works well with ambiguity, and wants real exposure to the life sciences and RWE space early in their career. Join us if start up environment is what you are looking for — to build together and grow fast.
What You Will Do
* Lead and coordinate the end-to-end development of RFP and unsolicited proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and Traverse Health's capabilities
* Prepare high-quality pitch decks, capability presentations, and business development materials for pharma and biotech clients
* Collaborate with scientific, data, and technical teams to accurately represent our RWE study designs, digital registry solutions, and analytical methodologies in client-facing materials
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of proposal templates, case studies, and a reusable content library
* Assist in the preparation of client meetings, conferences, and follow-up communications
* Support project scoping discussions and budget estimation for new engagements
What We Are Looking For
Required:
* 1–2 years of experience in a Big 4 consulting firm (healthcare or life sciences practice), pharmaceutical company, healthtech, or related environment
* Demonstrated experience contributing to the formation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proposals, or pitches in a professional setting
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — you can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
* Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to create visually clear, well-structured presentations
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously
* Comfortable working independently in a distributed, international team
Preferred:
* Understanding of real-world evidence, health economics, or clinical research concepts
* Familiarity with pharmaceutical drug development and regulatory pathways
* Familiarity with procurement and tender submission platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or similar — experience navigating vendor portals used by large pharma and biotech companies is a plus
* Experience working with clients or stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures
* Additional European language Spanish is a plus
* University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline — we are looking for a structured thinker who is comfortable with numbers and logical reasoning, not just communication
Alternative Profiles We Welcome
We recognise that great talent does not always follow a linear path. We also encourage applications from:
* MBA students or recent MBA graduates seeking part-time or project-based engagement (minimum 3 days per week) while completing their programme — ideally based in or near Barcelona, Madrid
* Candidates transitioning from academic research (PhD or MSc in life sciences, epidemiology, public health, or health economics) who have developed strong analytical and communication skills and are looking to apply them in a commercial context
* Consultants from strategy, market access backgrounds who want to move closer to data and evidence generation
What We Offer
* Direct exposure to senior leadership and real commercial decisions from day one
* The opportunity to work on cutting-edge RWE projects across Europe, MENA, and emerging markets
* A collaborative, international team that values intellectual curiosity and initiative over hierarchy
* Flexible working arrangements — remote-first within Europe, with preference for Barcelona-based candidates
* In person meetings and all company field trips
* Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
* The chance to grow with a company at an exciting stage of its development
