About the Role
Reporting directly to the Customer Service Director, the Customer Service Sales Area Manager is responsible for the development and the performance of all sales activities in assigned business unit and region in order to achieve Customer Service results in line with commercial and budget goals. The role will cooperate with Headquarter and Regional colleagues to implement commercial strategies and sales plan in the assigned area.
Main responsibilities include:
* Implementing the sales strategy and managing sales processes in order to consolidate, develop and achieve results for After Sales business lines (Spares, Upgrades, Services), and to deliver financial Customer Service targets.
* Contributing to the identification, design and promotion of new products and services to answer customer needs and pursuing the company growth strategy.
* Handling complex customer claims professionally applying systematic methods to analyze and solve issues in a structured way.
* Focusing on fast, complete and correct service with due regard to costs.
* Maintaining accurate records of sales and activities related to business and customers; coordinating the agents in the area and dealing with direct customers and supporting Agents in standard proposals, if required.
* Collaborating closely with the technical department, OE Sales Dept., Project Dept., distributors and agents to evaluate and fulfill customer needs and requests, conduct technical negotiations and prepare commercial offers.
* Collaborating with the Engineering Dept. providing structured and comprehensive field feedback to improve our products and with the Assembling Dept. and Service Organizations of local Coesia Distribution Centres to maintain Service coverage.
The position will be based in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, Spain.
What You Need to Be Successful
* Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or related fields, with strong passion and curiosity for technical topics.
* At least 4–5 years of experience in a similar commercial role with proven sales results, ideally in Field Service environments.
* Experience in handling and negotiating with customers in technical commercial contexts.
* Customer orientation and solid Customer Service mindset.
* Understanding of service models and customer expectations within multinational companies.
* Knowledge of mechatronics applied to automated machinery.
* Fluent English; German or other languages would be an advantage.
* International experience would be appreciated.
* Availability for worldwide travel when required.
